Red Rock Canyon is another national conservation area that offers a scenic drive, biking, rock climbing and camping. This park encompasses an area of 197,000 acres.
Colorful sandstone formations, canyons and a spring complete the surreal atmosphere of the park. Also spot the wildlife such as bobcats, desert bighorn sheep and wild burros (donkeys). Enjoy a beautiful day in the outdoors, but bring plenty of water (desert dry heat) and dress for the weather.
