The Titanic was a British Luxury passenger ship that sank while on route to New York from Southampton , England on its maiden voyage.
The ship had collided with an iceberg about 400 miles from Newfoundland killing about 1500 on board. At Las Vegas Tropicana Hotel and Resort, a fully constructed replica of the Titanic's famed Grand Staircase is on display along with the Promenade deck with actual weather conditions at the time of the fateful occurrence. Almost 300 authentic artifacts which were discovered almost 12,500 feet below sea-level are also on display.
